PyImageJ: integrating ImageJ and Python

Fresh from Nature Methods this week is an article from a consortium of UW-Madison researchers that developed a Python library for image analysis. Their new Python library is linking the Java-based methods of the ImageJ2 software to Python for powerful command-line processing.
